Lattix® is a Swedish company and Northern Europe’s leading brand of passive-safety, lightweight and frangible mast systems. It makes masts for road traffic, aviation and multi-purpose use; Lattix aviation masts have been delivered to more than 250 airports in over 40 countries.
The aluminium lattice breaks away and absorbs energy when struck by an aircraft, meeting ICAO frangibility requirements (Doc 9157 Part 6). The same structure is very stiff, so antennas, cameras and instruments work without vibration.
