Glide Path Indicator (GPI)
The GPI provides luminous information to the pilot for the night landing with a helicopter in severe operating conditions where the use of standard fixed equipment is not possible. The GPI mainly consists of a compact projector, that emits on the vertical plane a trichromatic light beam, as shown in the graphical representation.
