Details and drawings

The FCA-90 and FCA-180 are diesel ground power units (DGPU) designed to power on-board aircraft systems during preparation for flight, maintenance, and engine starting. Each unit delivers dual output: 3×115/200 V at 400 Hz AC power through the FCA converter module, and 28 VDC at up to 600 A continuous through the AR-1x600D rectifier module.

Available in two power ratings (90 kVA and 180 kVA), both models are powered by Cummins 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines and can operate from the internal diesel generator or from an external 3x400V 50 Hz grid connection. The self-propelled mobile design reaches speeds of up to 25 km/h, with overall efficiency of 95% or above.
